Nearly North Photography

I'm Jim Ponto, and I like to take photos.

Perhaps you have heard the old saying "the worst day fishing is still better than the best day working?  Well for me, walking in the woods with my camera beats both of them hands down.

Peaceful. Calming. Tranquil.  These words are often used to describe a persons retreat.  Sometimes this is a place and sometimes it's a state of mind.  Its my hope that my art takes you to just such a place.  Nearly North.
